We normally travel with each other however this was just too cool of a trip to not bring our 9 year old daughter. 2 weeks in Japan (Tokyo and Osaka) have been just amazing. We included our daughter in every activity we could possibly do —except go karts. That’s right. My wife and are just big kids at heart and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to ride go carts through Tokyo. This leaves the issue of our 9 year old. We didn’t bring any family with us to watch her. What do you do?! My super smart and awesome wife found Harajuku Kids Club. Now, ain’t going to lie. I was skeptical about dropping my kid off at a day care in another country. I’m skeptical about our own day cares in Florida!! lol! Anyway, this was a cool school. Immediately upon entering it felt safe and professional. Our daughter kinda wondered in and immediately made friends. The owner spoke English and they had the top American radio songs going lightly in the background. Our daughter was so at home we had to get her attention that we were leaving. She had already made friends and was doing craft projects and asking questions. Okay…now that was handled we rode the go karts and walked around. Now, just a few blocks over is a massive shopping and eating district. You can spend 4-5 hours just walking from the school around all the local shops. It’s really a good spot because the school is a few blocks away from all that on a quiet tucked away spot but a 2 minute walk to everything and a major train station. It’s truly the perfect location. Now for the real test. Upon arrival back, we had to spend another hour with our daughter because she didn’t want to leave. She finished up her crafts and food (yes they even made desserts for us). We got updates and pictures the entire time we were gone. Total 4 hours. She learned to write her name in Japanese too! The next day she asked if she was going back! So long story short…if there’s something you need to do as grown-ups or just need a minute away, this place is worth twice the price they charge for the safety and care they give your kid. Finding this place totally made the trip a perfect experience for us. Highly recommend. Wonderfully kind staff. My daughter had an amazing time! Whenever we return to Tokyo we will return here as well :)に投稿されました Brad Potter2025.11.06.Trustindex は、レビューの元のソースが Google であることを確認します。 Our daughter attended Harajuku Kids Club recently as a foreign tourist, and it was such a rewarding experience. When we arrived back to pick her up, she was running around playing with the local children, and didn't want to stop. We'd opted for 3 hours because we didn't know how it would go, but would do longer next time. Our daughter immediately asked if she could go back. As others have said, Aya and her staff are super caring, accommodating and welcoming. This was clear from the fact that drop-off was painless since our daughter can be clingy if she's not comfortable with the environment. We would recommend Harajuku kids club to anyone without any one without exception! We had a wonderful time at the Harajuku Kids Club Tokyo! Our children (8 and 3 years old) loved the fun mix of activities. They enjoyed trying traditional Japanese calligraphy and even learned how to write their names, tried making and drinking Japanese tea. The crepe-making session was a huge hit, and dressing up in traditional Japanese costumes made for the most adorable photos. The staff were incredibly kind and patient. When our 3-year-old started crying midway, Director Aya comforted him gently that he soon joined back with a big smile. A beautiful, cultural, and caring experience we highly recommend for families. An amazing experience! I highly recommend Harajuku Kids Club as part of your experience in Tokyo. My child had so much fun learning calligraphy, doing crafts, learning songs and we can't wait to go back! The space is well-equipped, safe and clean. The online registration process was easy and the communication was excellent in confirming the dates & times. Harajuku Kids Club is in an excellent location easily accessible from a few train lines. Aya was so lovely and it shows how much she enjoys sharing the Japanese culture with visitors! Thank you, Aya! We recently used Harajuku Kids Club during our stay in Tokyo for our almost 2-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loved every moment of it! Aya took such wonderful care of her—playing, engaging her in fun activities, and making her feel right at home. It was a fantastic experience that also gave our daughter beautiful exposure to Japanese culture. Harajuku Kids Club is a great school where kids can experience cultural and seasonal events with warm and experienced teachers! Also, this is a rare place where local and international kids come together to share culture, friendship, and learning. Our daughter had a great time there and she often asks us when she can go to Harajuku Kids Club again! It is truly wonderful that even families based in Japan can have their children nurtured in a safe bilingual educational environment instead of using regular babysitters. Especially when visiting Japan from abroad, you can feel at ease choosing Harajuku kids club instead of babysitting! I'd definitely recommend Harajuku kids club to my friends and family abroad. Thank you very much! If you’re thinking of a babysitter, I suggest trying this place instead. The staff are professional and caring, and the activities are fun and safe. My child enjoyed calligraphy and making a crepe, and I felt safe knowing they were in good hands. I completely trust Aya, the owner of HARAJUKU KIDS CLUB TOKYOに投稿されました Shin Lawson2025.08.30.Trustindex は、レビューの元のソースが Google であることを確認します。 I was so impressed with Harajuku Kids Club. They are true professionals, highly qualified and with focus on both fun and safety. I knew my child was in very safe hands. They take so much care in creating engaging cultural immersion activities for visiting children. My child learned some Japanese, about local food, festivals, games and crafts. My child asked to go back again and again. It was their favourite part of their Tokyo trip! We will be back again. We used these day care service during our holiday in Tokyo and my daughter had so much fun! Mrs. Aya the owner is lovely, very welcoming and experienced with children. My daughter played and did Japanese art and crafts meanwhile I could enjoy a couple of kid free hours for sightseeing and shopping. At the end we took some photos of my daughter dressed up with the Yukata, such a lovely souvenir photo! I definitely recommend these day care to all families travelling to Tokyo and it is also a very good first approach to Japanese culture for children.

I have two children and have been raising them.
I have worked at an international school for about 8 years, the last time as a school director. When I traveled abroad with my children, I was impressed by the kindness of the local adults toward children, and I felt very comfortable and at ease. Unfortunately, many Japanese people are resistant to children, and I wanted such a Japan to be the same as overseas, which led me to launch “HARAJUKU KIDS CLUB TOKYO”. We believe that it is difficult for foreigners to travel with children in Japan because everywhere you go is crowded, the streets are narrow, and there are few people who can speak English. We hope that we can be of help to you, and we welcome you to “HARAJUKU KIDS CLUB TOKYO”.
